Ghost Bike
A ghost bike is a bicycle painted white and locked near the place where a cyclist was killed. Each one marks a person — someone who was just trying to get somewhere — and a death that better street design almost always could have prevented.
This project is a digital counterpart to those roadside memorials: a place to remember the people behind the white bikes, and to keep their stories from fading when the paint does.

Why this matters to me
I want streets where an eight-year-old can bike to school and a grandmother can cross to the pharmacy without anyone holding their breath. Every ghost bike is evidence of how far we are from that — and a reason to keep pushing. Memorials aren't just grief; they're testimony.
